Provided technical studies for infrastructure upgrade associated with hospital and central plant modernizations. Evaluated infrastructure deficiencies, recommended solutions and developed associated costs for up-grades. Conducted on-site evaluation of building, developed Performance Work Statements for Design-Build RFP and prepared cost estimates for the proposed work.
Our services included:
- Investigation of slab-on-grade failure at the existing hospital including on-site field density soil tests to assess structural integrity and recommended solutions in Performance Work Statement
- Investigation of Emergency Power Supply System (EPSS), Transient Voltage System (TVS) and recommendations for upgrade in Performance Work Statement
- Investigation of Fire and Life safety systems for code and life safety compliance and recommendations for repair
- Cost estimating utilizing MCACES – MII (Micro-Computer Aided Cost Estimating System, Second Generation)
- Conducting a Value Engineering workshop
